The group expressed concerns about potential internal instability and division within the party if the governor were to defect, citing existing rivalries among key APC stakeholders in the state. They declared Governor Muhammad a persona non grata within the APC and urged the party's national chairman, Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, to ensure unity and focus on the party's success in the upcoming elections.
