APC Group Praises Kalu for South-East Political Influence

The APC group commended Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu for his influential role in promoting the political interests of the South-East region. In a statement issued on Saturday by the group's national coordinator, Ardo Zubariu, and national secretary, Chinsom Nwakanma, they highlighted Kalu's leadership as a key factor in strengthening the region's voice in national politics.

The group noted the strong support from South-East residents during the recent Federal Capital Territory area council elections, where the APC made significant inroads. Kalu, who represents the Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State and serves as the Deputy Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, was recognized for his effective parliamentary leadership and commitment to national unity and inclusive governance.

His involvement in the APC campaign council was pivotal in securing victories for the party in five out of six area councils. The group emphasized that Kalu's leadership will enhance the South-East's political relevance and attract greater development opportunities to the region.
