APC Group Criticizes Yari for Meeting with Atiku

The All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, known as the Sokoto Progress Congress, has raised concerns regarding Senator Abdul Aziz Yari's alleged closed-door meeting with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Dr.

Haruna Sadauki, the zonal coordinator of the group, described this development as troubling for party loyalty. The group cautioned Yari against engaging with opposition figures, warning that such actions could undermine the unity and cohesion of the APC.

They emphasized that this move appears to be a calculated attempt to distract from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's efforts to foster national development and unity. The statement also highlighted that Yari's actions could breach trust within the party and potentially damage his political future.

The group urged Yari to demonstrate renewed commitment to the APC and avoid actions perceived as self-serving, especially in light of the upcoming 2027 general elections.
