APC Commends Orderly Local Government Congresses in Benue

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has praised the orderly conduct of local government congresses held across Benue State on Saturday. Usman Musa, the chairman of the ward local government congress committee, expressed satisfaction with the process during a briefing at the party secretariat in Makurdi.

He attributed the success to the cooperation of security agencies and officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Musa highlighted the peaceful nature of the congresses and acknowledged the guidance of Governor Rev. Father Alia.

He noted that the congresses were conducted within the confines of the law and emphasized the importance of unity within the party. Meanwhile, a faction led by Austin Agada, loyal to Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) George Akum, praised the orderly and transparent conduct of the congresses, reflecting a high level of discipline and organization within the party.

The faction urged the party's executives to remain inclusive and transparent to strengthen the party's grassroots structure.
