APC North-central Zonal Congress Scheduled for March 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) North-central is set to convene a zonal congress on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Akw Doma Banquet Hall in the Government House, Lafia, Nasarawa State. This congress will gather delegates from the North-central region, which includes Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to a statement issued by the party's National Vice Chairman for North-central, Hon. Mu Azu Bawa Rijau, the congress aims to review the party's activities in the region and establish a unified front ahead of the national convention scheduled for March 27-28, 2026, in Abuja.

Delegates are advised to arrive on time to ensure that the congress can address the issues related to the party's slate. The congress will include statutory delegates as outlined in Article 12(7) of the party's constitution, which encompasses zonal chairmen, past zonal chairmen, former state governors, and members of the National Assembly.
