APC National Secretary Defends Party's Stance on Workers

Ajibola Bashiru, the national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that the party is not anti-worker and urged civil servants in Osun State to ignore derogatory comments made by individuals that do not represent the party's official stance. Speaking during a meeting in Osogbo, Bashiru emphasized that the APC respects civil servants and is committed to their welfare.

He noted that the party's ideology is not reflected in the harsh comments made by some individuals. Bashiru called on civil servants to remain engaged in the political process and not to be swayed by careless statements.

He warned APC members to avoid complacency as the party prepares for the governorship election scheduled for August 15, urging unity and discipline within the party. Bashiru also reiterated the party's support for its governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, and highlighted the importance of focusing on the party's success in the upcoming elections.
