APC not operating like a political party – Gbenga Hashim

At an interactive session with journalists in Abuja, Gbenga Hashim criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that the party is not functioning like a political party but more like an authoritarian movement. Hashim accused the APC of lacking ideology, internal democracy, and a coherent vision for Nigeria's future.

He highlighted the party's role in the country's economic decline and increased insecurity, contrasting the promises of change with the reality of a shrinking GDP and expanding insecurity in various regions. In response, APC's National Director of Publicity, Bala Ibrahim, refuted Hashim's claims, stating that the party operates within the principles of democracy and transparency.

Ibrahim emphasized that the APC has not strayed from its democratic values and has achieved significant progress under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
