Tinubu Dominates APC Presidential Primary in Three States

Bola Tinubu emerged victorious in the APC presidential primary held across Jigawa, Ogun, and Imo states on Saturday, ahead of the 2027 general elections. In Jigawa State, Tinubu received 206,520 votes with no challengers, as announced by Governor Umar Namadi.

A total of 330,327 voters were registered, with 206,520 accredited to vote. In Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodinma reported that Tinubu garnered 582,960 votes, defeating Stanlei Osifo, who received only 103 votes.

The primary in Imo saw massive participation and was conducted peacefully under the supervision of party officials and security agencies. In Ogun State, Governor Dapo Abiodun announced that Tinubu secured 322,485 votes, again with Osifo receiving zero votes.

The total number of registered voters in Ogun was 343,407, with 323,164 accredited. Abiodun described the process as free, fair, and transparent.
