Tinubu Wins APC Primary in Kabo Ward, Signals 2027 Success

Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary held at Kabo Ward in Kabo Local Government Area, Kano North Senatorial District. The primary was conducted under the supervision of Umar Mohammadu Rabiu and members of the presidential primary committee from APC Kano State.

A total of 1,007 eligible voters were registered, but the turnout was notably low, with only three votes cast for Osifo Osayamen Stanlei, resulting in zero votes for him. Barau Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President and a prominent APC member, expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the exercise and thanked party members for their massive turnout.

He indicated that the successful primary is a positive signal for the APC's prospects in the upcoming 2027 general elections, scheduled for January 16, 2027, when the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will conduct presidential and national assembly elections.
