APC Primaries: Support Grows for Sarah Ivi Adidi

In the lead-up to the APC primaries for the AMAC/Bwari federal constituency seat, several contestants have indicated their intention to step down in favor of female aspirant Sarah Ivi Adidi. This decision comes as Adidi has garnered widespread acceptance and support, particularly among women and youth, due to her grassroots connections.

The primaries, initially scheduled for May 15, have been postponed to May 16, as announced by APC National Public Secretary Felix Morka. Adidi recently completed a ward-to-ward consultation tour across the 22 wards in the AMAC/Bwari area council, where she met with party executives, stakeholders, women’s groups, youth leaders, and traditional representatives.

During her tour, she expressed gratitude for the encouragement she received and emphasized her commitment to represent the people compassionately. A consultative meeting is planned among aspirants to discuss the possibility of presenting a consensus candidate ahead of the primaries.

The APC FCT chapter has shown support for Adidi's candidacy.
