Sule Seeks Traditional Rulers' Support for APC Primaries

On Monday, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State visited the palace of traditional ruler Ahm Ubangari in the Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area to seek support for his candidacy in the upcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for the Nasarawa North Senatorial District. Sule, who is also the chairman of the campaign council, was accompanied by Senator Philip Gyunka.

During the visit, he solicited royal blessings and prayers to enable him to win the primaries and secure the senatorial seat in the 2027 elections. Sule highlighted his administration's achievements in education, healthcare, agriculture, road construction, water supply, and peacebuilding, asserting that these accomplishments have positively impacted the lives of the people in the state.

Bala John, the director-general of the campaign council, expressed confidence that the people of Nasarawa North would greatly benefit from Sule's representation in the National Assembly. Other local leaders, including Timothy Anjid and Iliya Aliyu, also commended Sule's leadership and called for support ahead of the primaries.
