Nasarawa Governor Sule Starts Consultations for APC Primary

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has initiated grassroots consultations in preparation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary scheduled for later this month. The consultations aim to secure the party's ticket for the Nasarawa North Senatorial District.

Former Deputy Governor Sila Agara has recently obtained a nomination form to contest for the senatorial seat. During a town hall meeting with community leaders in Mada Station, Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area, Timothy Anjid, the chairman of the advisory council, expressed optimism that Governor Sule will secure the party's ticket for the 2027 senatorial election.

The meeting emphasized the importance of infrastructure development and good governance, with Anjid urging continued support for Sule's administration. The campaign council, led by Philip Gyunka, is actively engaging traditional rulers and community leaders to garner support for Sule's candidacy, emphasizing unity and peace in the electoral process.
