Tinubu Wins Gombe APC Primaries with 450,516 Votes

In the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries conducted in Gombe State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu achieved a total of 450,516 votes, marking a significant victory. His challenger, Mr.

Stanlei Osifo, did not receive any votes across the 11 local government areas. The results were announced by Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, who stated that the primary election was conducted peacefully and in accordance with party guidelines.

The breakdown of votes showed Tinubu receiving 5,873 votes in Akko LGA, 23,307 in Balanga, 23,675 in Billiri, 24,964 in Dukku, 22,761 in Funakaye, 112,414 in Gombe LGA, 22,998 in Kaltungo, 25,305 in Kwami, 21,388 in Nafada, 12,765 in Shongom, and 75,067 in Yamaltu Deba. Governor Yahaya disclosed that there were 550,516 registered voters in the state and commended the party officials for their commitment to a democratic process during the exercise.
