Tinubu Wins APC Primary in Gombe with 450,517 Votes

Bola Tinubu secured victory in the APC presidential primary held in Gombe State, garnering 450,517 votes. His sole opponent, Stanlei Osifo, received no votes.

The primary was conducted across 11 local government areas in the state, with a total of 550,516 registered APC members. Governor Muhammadu Yahaya described the results as a clear indication of unwavering support for Tinubu and the APC in Gombe State, reflecting the party's unity and commitment to Tinubu's leadership and development policies.

The results were announced by Inuwa Yahaya, who emphasized the peaceful and transparent nature of the exercise. The APC chairman in Gombe, Mohammed Ndu, called the event a historic step toward the party's preparations for the 2027 elections.

The results will be officially submitted to the party's national secretariat in Abuja. The process was monitored by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission and security agencies.
