APC Ratifies Suspension of Senator Gbenga Daniel, Kunle Folarin Over Anti-Party Allegations

The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed the suspension of Senator Gbenga Daniel and Kunle Folarin over alleged anti-party activities. The decision was made following an investigation by the disciplinary committee of Ward IV and Ward VI in Sagamu Local Government.

The two men were accused of misconduct, and despite being given the opportunity to defend themselves, they failed to respond or attend the disciplinary hearing. The State Working Committee, chaired by APC State Chairman Yemi Sanusi, ratified the suspension, which is in line with the party's constitution.

The statement from the party's Director of Publicity, Nuberu Olufemi, indicated that the suspension of the two members will remain indefinite pending further investigation and the final outcome of the disciplinary process.
