Senator Gbenga Daniel has refuted rumors of a potential return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and reiterated his allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The denial comes in response to reports suggesting his intention to defect.

In a statement released by his office, Senator Daniel, who represents Ogun East and is a former governor of Ogun State, dismissed the claims as false. The speculation arose following the suspension of Kunle Folarin from the Ogun APC, but Senator Daniel clarified that he remains a member of the APC.

He emphasized his commitment to the ruling party, stating that any rumors of his return to the PDP are baseless.
