APC Unveils Timetable for 2027 General Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections. The schedule includes the sale of nomination forms, which will commence on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and conclude on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

The party has set the fees for nomination forms at 100,000,000 Naira for presidential aspirants, 50,000,000 Naira for governorship positions, 20,000,000 Naira for Senate seats, 10,000,000 Naira for House of Representatives, and 6,000,000 Naira for State House Assembly positions. Following the sale of forms, screening for state House Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, and governorship aspirants will take place from May 6 to May 8, 2026.

The presidential screening is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, with the presidential primary elections set for May 15 and 16, 2026. The APC has assured its members and stakeholders of its commitment to conducting credible and transparent primaries to strengthen the party's internal democracy.
