APC Extends Nomination Form Deadlines for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced an extension of the deadline for the sale and submission of nomination forms for the upcoming 2027 elections. According to a statement issued on May 4, 2026, and signed by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the new timeline allows interested aspirants to complete their forms.

The sale of nomination forms will now close at midnight on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, with the submission of completed forms extended to midnight on Thursday, May 7, 2026. The party has scheduled the screening of aspirants to take place from Friday, May 8, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

The names of successful candidates are expected to be published on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. This extension is part of the APC's efforts to provide aspirants with the opportunity to fully participate in the electoral process.
