APC Extends Nomination Form Deadlines for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced an extension of the deadlines for the sale and submission of nomination forms for the upcoming 2027 general elections. This decision was made during a meeting of the party's National Working Committee (NWC) held on Thursday at the party's national secretariat in Abuja.

According to a statement released via the party's official account, the sale of nomination forms will now close at midnight on May 4, 2026. Additionally, the deadline for the complete submission of forms, along with accompanying documents, has been extended to midnight on May 5, 2026.

The APC Deputy National Public Secretary indicated that the extension was necessary due to the nationwide public holiday observed on Friday, which aimed to accommodate the high level of interest from aspirants.
