APC Screens 158 Aspirants for Kwara Assembly Seats

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State screened 158 aspirants for 24 House of Assembly seats, as announced on Monday. The screening process, led by Prof. Success Musa, aims to ensure a credible selection of candidates, reflecting the party's commitment to democratic principles.

Musa emphasized the importance of avoiding past mistakes, referencing the APC's loss in Bayelsa State due to qualification issues. He assured that the screening would be conducted fairly and transparently, urging aspirants to conduct themselves orderly and to report any grievances to the appeal committee.

Mr. Sundai Fagbemi, the party chairman, reiterated the need for proper documentation to avoid errors that could undermine electoral success. The screening process also highlighted gender inclusivity, with 30 female aspirants indicating interest in the House of Assembly seats, aligning with the policies of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's administration.
