APC Vice-Chairman Kekemek Seeks Ondo South Senate Seat

Isaac Kekemek, the current Vice-Chairman of the APC South-West, has declared his intention to run for the Ondo South senatorial seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This announcement was made on Tuesday and follows significant pressure from party leaders, women, and youth groups within the district.

Kekemek has consulted with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and other party leaders before making this decision. He emphasized that his campaign will focus on providing fair and fearless representation for the Ondo South senatorial district.

Kekemek expressed a strong sense of duty and responsibility, stating that his watchword will be "people first." His political experience includes serving as a minor leader in the Ondo State House of Assembly, as well as holding positions such as Secretary of State Government and Attorney General. Currently, he serves as the APC State Chairman and holds the national vice-chairman position for the South-West region.
