Kekemeke Declares Bid for Ondo South Senate Seat 2027

Isaac Kekemeke, the national vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the southwest, announced his intention to run for the Ondo South senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections. He made this declaration on a Tuesday, responding to calls from party leaders, women, and youth groups across the district urging him to step forward and serve.

Kekemeke noted that he consulted with the state governor, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and other party leaders before making his decision.

He expressed his commitment to providing fair and fearless representation for the Ondo South senatorial district, emphasizing that his focus would be on the people and their needs. Kekemeke's political background includes serving as a minority leader in the Ondo State House of Assembly, as well as holding various positions within the APC, including state chairman and zonal chairman.

He aims to deliver effective representation in Abuja for the people of Ondo South.
