APC Speakers Praise Passage of State Police Bill

Hon. Haruna Dangyatin, the speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, characterized the Senate's action as a historic turning point for Nigeria's internal security architecture.

He emphasized that the decentralized police structure would enhance the protection of lives and property at the subnational level. The forum pledged full support for the bill's rollout, while also acknowledging concerns regarding the potential misuse of police powers by state governors.
