APC Inaugurates Convention Committee Ahead of 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated its convention committee, tasked with organizing the party's upcoming national convention scheduled for 2026. The committee is chaired by former Katsina State Governor Masari, with Anyim Pius Anyim as vice chairman, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as vice chairman II, Hope Uzodinma as treasurer, and Mai Mala Buni as secretary.

Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda emphasized the importance of delivering a transparent, inclusive, and credible convention that reflects the party's democratic values. He called for the committee to rise above partisan interests and work collaboratively to ensure the success of the convention.

The APC leadership, represented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressed confidence in the committee's ability to uphold the party's ideals and maintain discipline within its ranks. The committee is expected to coordinate activities effectively and ensure a peaceful and successful convention, reinforcing the party's unity and confidence in its internal mechanisms.
