APC Distributes Relief Materials to Persons with Disabilities

The All Progressives Congress (APC) organized an event in Abuja on Tuesday to distribute relief materials, including cash and food items, to persons with disabilities (PWDs). The beneficiaries were drawn from various disability clusters across the Federal Capital Territory.

Tolu Bankol, the APC national leader for persons with disabilities, spoke on behalf of the APC national chairman, Professor Nentaw Yilwatda, highlighting the party's commitment to ensuring that PWDs benefit from its programs and policies. Jibrin Bancir, the principal private secretary to the national chairman, welcomed the beneficiaries and reaffirmed the party's dedication to disability inclusion.

Bankol expressed gratitude for the support from the APC leadership and called for greater collaboration to advance the welfare of PWDs nationwide. The event served as a platform to advocate for the inclusion of PWDs in governance and economic activities, urging government agencies and private organizations to intensify efforts to remove barriers limiting opportunities for PWDs.
