APC to Harmonize Tinubu Support Groups for 2027 Elections

Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced a strategic initiative to profile and harmonize all support groups for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in preparation for the 2027 general elections. This announcement was made during a town hall meeting in Kano, where Yilwatda, represented by his Special Adviser Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi, emphasized the need for a coordinated campaign to avoid the fragmentation experienced in the 2023 elections.

The profiling exercise will verify membership, leadership structures, operational areas, and capacities of the support groups, with only those meeting the APC's criteria being officially recognized. A technical committee has been established to create a central database for these groups across Nigeria.

Yilwatda stressed the importance of unity and a singular voice for the Renewed Hope Agenda. Hajiya Fatima Gamawa, Coordinator of the Zinariya Tinubu Support Group, expressed support for this initiative, highlighting its potential to enhance campaign effectiveness and resource management.
