APC Wins 20 Councils in Rivers LG Polls, PDP Takes 3 Seats

The All Progressives Congress (APC) secured victory in 20 out of 23 local government areas in the recent local government council elections in Rivers State, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won three chairmanship seats. The results were announced by the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC).

The PDP's legal adviser in Rivers, Okachi Ordu, praised the election as transparent and credible, emphasizing the peaceful outcome.
