APC's Henrietta Bulabari Wins Khana II Bye-Election

Henrietta Bulabari, the candidate from the All Progressives Congress (APC), emerged victorious in the Khana II bye-election held in Rivers State. She received a total of 7,647 votes, defeating candidates from other political parties, including the AA with 46 votes, NNPP with 37 votes, YPP with 23 votes, and ZLP with 47 votes.

The election was overseen by Prof. Angela Brigg, who declared Bulabari the winner, confirming that she met all legal requirements.

Out of 71,914 registered voters, 7,834 were accredited, and a total of 7,800 votes were declared valid, with 34 ballots rejected. Following her victory, Bulabari expressed her delight at the outcome, describing the election process as free, fair, smooth, and peaceful.

She pledged to prioritize the welfare of her constituents and promised to execute impactful projects throughout her tenure, ensuring the delivery of democratic dividends and addressing pressing needs in Khana II.
