APGA Sets Screening Dates for 2026 Assembly Aspirants

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has officially announced the screening dates for aspirants seeking nominations for the national and state Assembly positions ahead of the 2026 primary elections. According to a statement issued on Sunday from APGA's national public secretariat by Ejimofor Opara, the screening for Senate and House of Representatives aspirants will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 10 AM at APGA's national headquarters in Abuja.

Additionally, the screening for aspirants for the Anambra State House of Assembly will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 10 AM at APGA's regional office in Awka, Anambra State. The statement emphasized that aspirants must adhere strictly to the scheduled dates and times.

It also noted that aspirants from states outside Anambra should communicate through official party channels regarding their screening. The screening process will be free of charge, and no payments will be required from the aspirants.
