APGA Chieftain Criticizes IPOB Confrontation of Soludo

Chinedu Obigw, an APGA chieftain, condemned the IPOB group for confronting Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo during a town hall meeting in London.

The confrontation occurred as Soludo engaged with the Anambra diaspora regarding development strides in his administration's second term. The group accused Soludo of not making efforts to secure the release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu and of sponsoring attacks that resulted in youth killings in the area.

In response, Obigw issued a press statement clarifying that Soludo has been at the forefront of advocating for Kanu's release and urged the federal government to take action. He emphasized that the governor's administration has been working to restore peace and security in Anambra State, which has faced significant violence and insecurity.

Obigw criticized the protest against Soludo, labeling it as the work of "fifth columnists" and urged the public to support the governor's efforts to maintain peace in the region.
