Appeal Court Dismisses Nnamdi Kanu's Rights Violation Suit Against DSS and AGF

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has struck out Nnamdi Kanu's suit alleging rights violations by the DSS DG and AGF as academic. Kanu, the IPOB leader, had claimed various breaches of his rights, but the court deemed them irrelevant after his conviction and transfer to prison.

His request to move from DSS custody to Kuje prison was denied. Kanu's lawyer, Maxwell Opara, confirmed the proceedings.

This decision follows the dismissal of Kanu's earlier suit for lack of proof, challenging a previous judgment.
