Appeal Court Strikes Out Nnamdi Kanu's Suit Against DSS and AGF

The Appeal Court in Abuja on Friday struck out Nnamdi Kanu's suit against the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF). The court described the case as without merit and academic, following Kanu's conviction for terrorism.

Kanu's lawyer, Maxwell Opara, confirmed that his client was being held in Sokoto prison, rendering the appeal moot. The court refused Kanu's request to be relocated from Kuje prison, where he is currently held.

Justice James Omotosho had previously sentenced Kanu to life imprisonment for terrorism charges.
