Araraume Disavows False Statements, Reaffirms APC Loyalty

On Wednesday, Ifeanyi Araraume, the Senator representing Okigwe, publicly disowned statements attributed to him concerning his candidacy for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming general elections. He emphasized his unwavering loyalty to the APC and his cordial relationship with Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Araraume clarified that he never authorized any statement suggesting a sour relationship with the governor or declaring his candidacy. He described the circulating statements as false, unauthorized, and a deliberate attempt to mislead the public and create unnecessary tension within the APC in Imo State.

Araraume reaffirmed his commitment to the party's ideals and democratic processes, stating he would await the official position regarding the Imo North senatorial primary. He urged APC members and the public to disregard the misleading claims and emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among party stakeholders.
