Aregbesola receives PDP, LP chieftains in Lagos into ADC

Former Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, welcomed chieftains from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) into the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos. Aregbesola assured the new coalition of the ADC's readiness to rescue the country and provide good governance by 2027.

The defectors were promised that 50% of elective and appointive positions would be allocated to youth and women. Aregbesola emphasized that the ADC is a party for the youth, owned collectively by patriotic citizens.

He stressed the need for a new course in Nigerian politics, giving voice and power to the youth. The event marked a significant milestone in the journey towards building a stronger political structure focused on democracy, inclusiveness, and good governance.

Aregbesola urged party members to avoid distractions and work towards rescuing and building a new Nigeria.
