Nigerian Army Armour School Launches New Training Courses

The Nigerian Army Armour School, located in Bauchi State, has unveiled new tactics and crew courses to enhance the skills of its troops. Major General Abubakar Ahmad issued a warning against examination malpractice during the inauguration ceremony held at the Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya Auditorium in Obienu Barrack.

Brigadier General Alhassan Haruna, representing the Deputy Command Director of Studies, emphasized the importance of discipline and professionalism throughout the training period. He noted that continuous training is critical for manpower development and operational efficiency.

The courses are designed to produce highly skilled personnel for the Nigerian Army Armour Corps, aligning with the Chief of Army Staff's command philosophy. The Deputy Command also issued strict warnings against misconduct, particularly regarding examination malpractice, which will attract appropriate sanctions.

The program includes several specialized courses, such as the Armour Young Officer Course, Tactics Instructor Course, and Soldier Crew Command Course, among others. The ceremony concluded with a group photograph of the participants.
