Nigerian Army Chief Charges 3,391 New Soldiers to Uphold Professionalism and Patriotism

Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, the Chief of Army Staff, addressed 3,391 newly inducted soldiers of the Nigerian Army in Osogbo, urging them to maintain discipline, professionalism, and courage. This event marked the first set of soldiers to graduate from the Nigerian Army Depot in Osogbo.

Shaibu emphasized the critical period in Nigeria's history with evolving security challenges and urged the new soldiers to draw strength from rigorous training. The soldiers were reminded of their responsibility to safeguard Nigeria's territory and contribute to national security.
