Nigerian Army Chief Charges 3,439 New Recruits to Uphold Loyalty and Discipline

Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, the Chief of Army Staff, urged 3,439 newly trained recruits of the Nigerian Army to maintain loyalty and discipline as they officially joined the service. The recruits, part of the 89 Regular Intake, completed rigorous training at the Nigerian Army Depot in Zaria.

The Chief of Army Staff emphasized the importance of professionalism and combat readiness in facing domestic and transnational security threats. The induction ceremony highlighted the recruits' dedication, discipline, and skills, essential for safeguarding the nation's territorial integrity.
