Nigerian Army Pledges Commitment to South East Security at Enugu Event

Major General Oluremi Fadairo, the Commanding Officer of the 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, reiterated the Army's commitment to maintaining security and fostering socio-economic activities in the South East region. During an event at the Abakpa Military Cantonment in Enugu, Fadairo assured the public of the Army's resolve to protect lives and properties in the region.

He commended the troops for their resilience and operational successes, emphasizing the importance of unity and cultural understanding within the Nigerian Army. The event, organized by the West Africa Social Activities Organization, aimed to promote unity and mutual understanding among military personnel.

Fadairo expressed appreciation to Lt. Gen.

Waidi Shaibu for his strategic guidance and resources. Enugu State Governor Peter Mba and Deputy Governor Ifeanyi Ossai lauded the sacrifices of the security agencies and emphasized the cordial relationship between the state government and the military, police, air force, and other security agencies.
