Nigerian Army Discovers Unexpended Ordnance in Benue

On Tuesday, security expert Zagazola Makama disclosed that Nigerian Army troops discovered unexpended ordnance during a routine patrol in Tse Orkpen village, located in the Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. The discovery occurred in the vicinity of the Ukpiam troop sector 1 operation.

Upon spotting the unexploded ordnance, the troops took immediate action to secure the area to prevent any potential danger to local residents. Subsequently, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was deployed to the location to safely recover the devices.

The unexploded ordnance was taken into military custody for further action. The Nigerian Army continues its efforts to clear operational areas of explosive remnants that pose a threat to civilian security and personnel.
