Nigerian Army Troops Kill 11 Terrorists in Sokoto Ambush

Nigerian Army troops from the 8th Division successfully neutralized 11 terrorists in an ambush in Kurawa village, Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State. The operation, codenamed "Operation Fansan Yamma," intercepted the terrorists as they attempted to cross towards Tara village.

This strategic move resulted in the elimination of the terrorists and the recovery of eight AK-47 rifles. The military's intensified offensive aims to target terrorist and bandit networks across Sokoto and Zamfara states, improving security in the North West region.
