Nigerian Soldiers Kill 11 Bandits in Sokoto Ambush

Nigerian troops from the 8 Division of the Nigerian Army, Sector 2, successfully neutralized 11 bandits during an ambush operation in Sokoto state. The attack, near Kurawa village in Sabon Birni Local Government Area, was based on credible intelligence.

The soldiers engaged the bandits in a firefight, causing several others to flee. The recovered weapons included AK-47 rifles and ammunition.

The operation aimed to prevent potential terrorist attacks and reinforce the commitment to combat banditry and ensure peace and security in Sokoto state.
