Tolu Arokodare Set for Genoa Move in Serie A Next Season

Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare is poised to play for Italian Serie A side Genoa next season, as the club is currently evaluating various attacking options, including Artem Dovbyk of Roma. Arokodare was previously linked with Fiorentina, but they filled their last non-EU slot with another player.

He has 10 caps and two goals for Nigeria and joined Wolves from Genk in September 2025 for €26 million, with a contract lasting until 2029. His current market value is €20 million.

Arokodare has also attracted interest from Turkish clubs Trabzonspor, Galatasaray, and Beşiktaş. Reports indicate that Fiorentina submitted a loan offer with a €22 million buy clause, while Trabzonspor proposed a similar deal with a €20 million option.

In a related development, Rafiu Durosinmi is close to transferring from Pisa to Genk after a disappointing season where he scored only one goal in 12 appearances, contributing to Pisa's relegation to Serie B. Genk is finalizing negotiations for Durosinmi, with a transfer fee expected between €10 million and €11 million.
