Genoa Joins Fiorentina in Pursuit of Tolu Arokodare

Genoa has entered the competition with Fiorentina to sign Tolu Arokodare, a 25-year-old striker currently with Wolverhampton Wanderers. According to reports from Italian newspaper Il Secolo XIX, Fiorentina is looking to secure Arokodare on a loan deal that includes a purchase option.

Genoa is also considering Arokodare as part of their shortlist to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season. Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are open to selling the Nigerian international, acquired Arokodare from Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk last summer.

During his time at Wolverhampton, Arokodare scored six goals across all competitions, but the club has faced relegation from the Premier League.
