Trossard Joins Besiktas from Arsenal for £15.3 Million

Leandro Trossard, a 31-year-old Belgian forward, has officially joined Turkish club Besiktas from Arsenal for a transfer fee of £15.3 million, equivalent to €18 million. The deal includes a three-year contract with an option for an additional year.

Trossard was given permission to travel to Istanbul to undergo a medical examination as part of the transfer process. He joined Arsenal in January 2023, where he made 174 appearances, scoring 36 goals and providing 34 assists, contributing significantly to Mikel Arteta's side that won the Premier League title last season.

Trossard was also a key player in the Champions League final, where Arsenal faced Paris Saint-Germain. Additionally, he represented Belgium in the summer World Cup, scoring twice as Belgium reached the quarter-finals before losing to Spain.
