Arteta, Enrique, De la Fuente Nominated for Coach Award

France Football has announced its shortlist for the 2026 Coach of the Year award, recognizing managers for their tactical management and results from the previous season. Mikel Arteta, the current coach of Arsenal, is nominated after leading the team to their first Premier League title since 1998, although they lost to PSG in the Champions League final in Rome.

Luis Enrique, who managed Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), is nominated for the second consecutive year after achieving back-to-back Champions League titles, a feat not accomplished since Real Madrid and Barcelona in 1998 and 2000. Luis de la Fuente is also nominated after winning the World Cup with Spain.

Additionally, Unai Emery is recognized for his successful year with Aston Villa, winning the Europa League and finishing 4th in the Premier League, while Vincent Kompany is nominated for managing Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title.
