2026 Ballon d’Or Nominees Announced for Coaches and Clubs

The shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d’Or has been revealed, recognizing top football talents for their performances during the 2025-2026 season. Announced on September 8, the nominations celebrate the award's 70th anniversary.

In the Men’s Coach of the Year category, nominees include Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, Spain's Luis de la Fuente, Aston Villa's Unai Emery, Bayern Munich's Vincent Kompany, and Paris Saint-Germain's Luis Enrique. The Women’s Coach of the Year nominees are Jonatan Giráldez, Andrée Jeglertz, Nils Nielsen, Pere Romeu, and Elena Sadiku.

For the Men’s Club of the Year, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Bodø/Glimt, Flamengo, and Paris Saint-Germain are nominated, while Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Club América, Manchester City, and OL Lyonnes are in contention for the Women’s Club of the Year. The Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year shortlist includes Yassine Bounou, Thibaut Courtois, Joan García, Gregor Kobel, Emiliano Martínez, Edouard Mendy, David Raya, Matvey Safonov, Unai Simón, and Vozinha.

The Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year nominees are Ann-Katrin Berger, Cata Coll, Hannah Hampton, Lorena, and Ayaka Yamashita. The ceremony will be held in London, UK, on October 26, with Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain as the reigning winner of the men’s category.
