Assaulted corps member: FG must intervene in brutality by Anambra vigilante operatives – Moghalu

Dr. George Moghalu, a Labour Party candidate in the upcoming Anambra governorship election, has called on the federal government to intervene in the brutality of innocent citizens by Anambra vigilante operatives.

Moghalu addressed journalists at his campaign office following a video that went viral showing a female corps member, Ms. Jennifer Elohor, being beaten by a vigilante operative named Udogachi.

He emphasized the need for the disbandment of the security group, noting that the federal government must step in immediately. Moghalu expressed concern over the escalating brutalization by the vigilante group, urging for proper training and accountability.

He highlighted the importance of ensuring security during the November election and called for the prosecution of those responsible for the assault.
