UNIJOS Students Back ASUU Strike Over Unresolved Issues with Government

UNIJOS students have expressed their support for the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in their planned strike over unresolved issues with the government. The students accuse the federal government of not doing enough to address the poor state of the education system in the country.

The Ministry of Education, led by Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, stated the government's commitment to resolving the issues to avoid further disruptions in the academic calendar.

ASUU has been mobilizing its members across universities in the country. The students believe that ASUU's actions are justified as a last resort after following due process.
