Atiku: ADC Poised to Challenge APC in 2027 Elections

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is Nigeria's only opposition party prepared to challenge and defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Atiku made these remarks during a visit to Abuja, where he expressed confidence in ADC's strong ideals and organizational structure.

He dismissed calls for him to step aside from the presidential race, describing the campaign against the APC as a fight against "unbridled chicanery." ADC chieftain Dele Momodu supported Atiku's stance, while Bolaji Abdullahi, ADC's National Public Secretary, criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration for policies that have allegedly ruined lives and destroyed livelihoods. Abdullahi's comments reflect a disconnect between leadership and the realities faced by millions of citizens, particularly regarding hardship and insecurity.
