Atiku Abubakar Confident ADC Will Defeat APC in Elections

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria and the presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), announced the party's readiness to challenge and defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections. This declaration was made during a stakeholder meeting held in Abuja, where Atiku emphasized the ADC's strong ideals and structural integrity.

He described his visit as deeply impactful, asserting that the ADC remains a formidable opposition force. Meanwhile, criticisms have emerged regarding the ADC's internal crises, with Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso suggesting that the party is embroiled in significant turmoil.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu's special adviser, Onanuga, noted that the situation within the ADC has deteriorated, particularly following remarks by Nafiu Bala, who criticized the party's recent convention led by David Mark as illegitimate. This internal strife has raised concerns about the credibility of the ADC's leadership and its ability to effectively challenge the APC.
